Story Behind the Art:
I am a designer by profession. I do my designing with African concepts in mind. Yes, my work has changed. I think it gets better as the years go by. The basic materials I use are soft wood sese and aluminum sheets. I carve the wood, dry it, stain it, sandpaper it with both rough and smooth sandpaper, apply white clay to dry, and lastly put polish. Having the edge of doing more designs inspires me, and I have taught this art to a number of people. 'My favorite things in life are cooking and being with my family. I dream that we'll one day have enough so I can also give back to others. I live with my husband and daughter.'
